Stirring the Gift

“Will you then, in the strength of the Holy Spirit, continually stir up the gift of God that is in you, to grow in holiness and grace?”

(from the Ordinal of the Church of England)

Stirring the Gift is a rolling programme of short conferences designed to give clergy the opportunity to invest and grow in their creativity. Each conference will have a main speaker and will focus on a particular form of artistic expression.

This course is hosted by the Revd Naomi Nixon and the Revd Canon Dr Mark Pryce, and includes input from a range of speakers drawn from across the UK.

The speaker for the next conference will be the Revd Dwayne Engh who will be leading using music for theological reflection. The conference will combine opportunities to hear from a speaker, to share our creativity with one another and to attend to creative expression (musical or otherwise) of our own.
